For more than 33 years, the operating rooms on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors of the Syamindra Building, Siriraj Hospital, have been vital in saving over one million lives each year.
However, time has taken its toll.
Despite continuous maintenance efforts to ensure round-the-clock service for patients in need of surgery, the increasing number of patients and the limited availability of operating rooms have led to prolonged wait times, affecting the progression of diseases.
To address this, the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University is renovating the operating rooms to create a modern, efficient, and well-equipped surgical environment. The upgrades will expand service areas to reduce patient wait times, integrate advanced visual and audio technology for medical education, and improve the overall quality of care for those in need.
To support this mission, the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, in collaboration with P. Pan Social Enterprise and Boyd Kosiyabong, is launching a fundraising campaign to modernize the operating rooms on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors of the Syamindra Building.
They have also partnered with Thailand Post and the Bangkok Illustration Fair (BKKIF) to create a special collection of postcards designed by 20 renowned Thai artists.
This includes leading artists such as Pod Thanachai Utchin, WHITE HAT. Since 2013, Tent Katchakul, Kamo, Pop Thawatchapong, May Wai, and many more.
All proceeds, after expenses, will be donated to the Siriraj Foundation and the Siriraj Operating Room Fund.
